what fish to put with paradise fish?

I am looking for as much information as possible please. i have had my fish tank for about 3 weeks in there i DID HAVE 4 paradise fish, 3 white cloud and 3 danio’s. now i have just 1 danio, 4 paradise fish and 3 white cloud as one of my paradise fish is becoming very aggressive towards the little ones. i wanted to get some more but dont know what to put in there as i dont want the evil one to bully it. i have noticed when people talk about paradise fish that they are quite aggressive and like to hide. i have nothing in my tank other than pebbles on the bottom. could this be why they are like they are??

Yes, that’s probably why, and the fact that they’re naturally aggressive at first. Male paradise fish are like betta’s in that sense.

Tankmates for paradise fish include gourami’s, tiger barbs, clown loaches, rainbow sharks, bala sharks, red tailed sharks, etc. Keep in mind that you’ll need a fairly large tank to house them together. Tiger barbs (minimum 40g), clown loaches (minimum 120g), rainbow sharks (minimum 120g), bala sharks (minimum 120g) and red tailed sharks (minimum 120g).

Remove the danios and return them. If you have a large enough tank then by all means add those fish, but if not, you’ll need to keep paradise fish alone.
