What steps required to turn on spa (looks like need to turn jandy valves and adjust compool control unit)?

Spa adjacent to pool. Almost positive need to manually actuate valves, pumps etc. that are located 15 feet from pool.

If you have valve actuators on the Jandy valves then the compool should turn them for you. Hard to say without actually seeing the configuration.
