what type of above ground pool is the best?

My husband and I are thinking of buying an above ground pool this summer for our kids ages 7 and 3. We want a 15 x 48″ or 16 x 48″ or maybe even and 18 x 48″. We were wondering which is the best to buy as far as type. We have seen the Intex easy set inflatable ones or the Intex metal frame ones. Both can be purchased from walmart. Which would you reccomend and why? we have a flat surface we just need advice on which type to buy. Thanks

I’m guessing there are four of you in your family so I would suggest the biggest pool you can find for the right price. The reason I say this is because Mom and Dad will be more apt to use a raft to catch the rays and the children will perhaps use some type of flotation as well and it wont take long to eat up the square footage with four people in the pool. My advice on what type would be to shop around. I don’t know what state you guys live so its hard to advise. Where I live there are several places such as “Watson’s” and other places I have seen advertised on TV. I would compare, ask about scratch and dent pools. Just make sure you check on the exact same type of pool so you can get an adequate estimate. Not to mention if you buy at the end of the season and can store it till the next spring you can save tons!!!
