Game Toy
What is a good game or toy for a 2 years old boy?
My son always wants us to play with him, I’m just wondering if there’s any game or toys we can buy to play. This is probably a challanging question, because at this age, he can’t talk yet.
He went through toys like it’s yesterday’s news. So, I’m wondering anyone can recommend any toys or games that would last him more than a day.
He say single words, just like any children at this age, he’s very sociable, get along with other children well.
when our friends’ son turned 2 we got him this neat piggy bank book and a CUTE piggy bank from amazon.com….it is orange with yellow spots and they have other colors too!
then, i put $2 in change in a little box. they said he would put his money in his piggy bank all day long and if he found any change he was all about putting it in his piggy bank!!!!
he didn’t quite get it at first, but they would try counting with him as he’d put the money in….1,2,3,4,5,6,7 etc…
this was loads of fun for a while and now that he gets an allowance he gets a portion of it for his piggy bank to save until he wants to buy something!
have you tried mega blocks?? our son is 1 and all three of us (dad too!) sit in the living room and build stuff. of course, our son likes ripping our sturctures apart more than building his own, but it’s still loads of fun! we have a good time with it.
the best part is you can get a BIG bag of them from walmart for about $10-15!!!

anyway…mega blocks are like giant legos. you can get them in hard plastic or a hard foam. i like the plastic ones, personally:)
also, how about just plain coloring?? he may not be able to do it for long or very “well”, but he can certainly make a “Scribble book”! just get construction paper and hole punch it and string some yarn through it and instant book!
